Embrace UK is looking for an inspirational and dedicated leader who engenders creativity and teamwork and will provide the necessary direction and support to our Care Service Team.Previous experience of 3 –5 years is required of working within a healthcare or domiciliary care setting as a Registered Manager or Head of Service.

Salary Scale: £35,000[starting]
Hours per week: Full Time[35 hours]

Selby Centre, Selby Road, Haringey, London N17 8JL
Qualifications:
- Professional Qualification in Health in Health and Social Leadership on a Degree or above level
Knowledge of:
- provision of direct care and information services.
- financial issues which affect communities e.g. welfare benefits.
- CQC requirements, safeguarding procedures and best practice of care.
Skills and Abilities:
- Working on own initiative, prioritising and target setting
- Planning and delivering a workload
- Speaking and communicating effectively in appropriate community languages
- Maintaining confidentiality of service users within the Embrace UK policy areas and in all matters that relate to information gained as a result of their employment with Embrace UK including matters relating to other members of staff, service users and members of the public and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- Producing clear and effective reports
- Communicating with a variety of audiences from beneficiaries to networks to funders
- Teamwork, leadership and Management within the Domiciliary Care profession
- Innovation to develop the advice service in response to needs
- A full driving license and use of a vehicle
- Comprehensive understanding and application of CQC Fundamental standards
Experience of:
- working in the care field (paid or unpaid).
- working in a Senior Management and / or Registered Manager Position particularly in a Domiciliary Care Sector.
- recruiting, training, engaging and supporting permanent / sessional staff and volunteers.
- working with people who are non-English speaking.
- liaising with other connections e.g. Health / Local Authorities and other agencies/individuals which support beneficiaries in the care field.
- fund raising for project related to domiciliary care service users.
- budgeting, management and maintaining accurate financial records.
We are looking for number of articulate and enthusiastic people with care assistant skills, knowledge and experience to join our vibrant Domiciliary Care Service.
Excellent knowledge about Health and Social Care with a particular interest of working with vulnerable people is essential. In addition, applicants must be fluent in both spoken and written English.

- Have at least Health and Social Care NVQ (QCF) Level 2
- Have the right attitude to work with vulnerable adults
- Are caring and responsible
- Are willing to work as a Home Support Worker
- Have a DBS Certificate or are ready to undergo aDBS check
Full training will be provided.
The payment is £9.50 per hour.
